With the rapid development of Internet technology, the penetration and integration between digital technology and international trade continue to deepen, prompting the rapid development of digital trade and increasingly becoming a new driving force for the economic growth of all countries in the world. The vigorous development of digital economy provides conditions for the rise and transformation of digital trade. Especially in the context of policy of the dual cycle between domestic and foreign, Chinese government pays much attention to the development of digital trade, and take measures to try to occupy a leading position in the field of digital trade. In this paper, the development status of China's digital trade was analyzed first. Then qualitative evidence based on the difficulties faced by digital trade under the policy of “double cycle” is presented. The results suggest that relevant officials should take measures in terms of adjusting the pattern of income distribution, ensuring the protection of personal privacy and data security and improving the level of openness.
