Abstract

ESG is an indicator and framework for evaluating corporate sustainability, covering three major areas: environmental, social and corporate governance. As the global public gradually attaches importance to social and environmental issues, ESG has become the focus of academic circles and enterprises. Therefore, based on the existing literature on ESG performance of enterprises, this paper will review and sort out the relevant literature from the three aspects of measurement methods, influencing factors and economic consequences of ESG performance of enterprises, and review the existing literature and research prospects, so as to provide direction and guidance for future scholars to further improve ESG related research.
